Makenna Pierce enters transfer portal, becomes eighth player to leave USM softball program

Another Southern Miss softball player has entered the transfer portal.

Sources confirmed to Pine Belt Sports that pitcher Makenna Pierce entered the portal on Tuesday, which brings the total of players to transfer or leave the program to eight during the 2021 season.

A fourth Southern Miss softball player has entered the transfer portal this season.

Pitcher Kaylan Ladner enter the portal on Tuesday, which makes her the fifth player to leave the program during this season.
