KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the list of 10 host sites for the seventh annual NAIA Softball National Championship Opening Round, and for the third straight year William Carey University was selected as a host site.

HATTIESBURG – No. 17 William Carey University split a doubleheader against No. 5 Georgia Gwinnett Sunday, taking Game 1 2-1 before dropping Game 2 13-7 in eight innings.
The Hattiesburg area is getting a semi-professional sports team to help waste away the summer months. A part of the Gulf Coast Premier League, Hattiesburg Futbol Club will participate in the 18-team league this summer.
