Sixth-ranked William Carey turned in a dominant showing Wednesday afternoon, sweeping No. 24 Loyola University 7–0 to capture its fifth consecutive SSAC Regular Season title and sixth overall.
With the victory, the Crusaders improved to 9–1 on the season, while Loyola fell to 6–4 overall.
