Southern Miss announces its termination with C-USA

The University of Southern Mississippi will terminate its membership in Conference USA effective June 30, 2022. The University will not participate in Conference USA during the 2022-23 academic year.

Sumrall surges in second quarter to down Purvis

PURVIS – Things were quickly decided between the Purvis boys and Sumrall as the two teams squared off in the first round of the Region 7-4A district tournament on Tuesday night.

The Bobcats put the game away after outscoring their rivals 25-4 in the second quarter to cruise to a 66-28 win.
