At the meeting of the Forrest County supervisors on Monday, District 5 Supervisor Chris Bowen expressed gratitude to his colleagues for their help in procuring a new fire engine for the Carnes Volunteer Fire Department.
The engine helps maintain the area insurance rating of a seven, which lowers insurance and property tax rates.
