Located behind the Forrest County Chancery Building and on the side of Sugar Daddy’s Bakery on Batson Street, phase II of the Glass Ceiling mural was unveiled on Monday afternoon. The project honors the late Evelyn Gandy, the first woman elected to a statewide office in Mississippi, who served as lieutenant governor from 1976 to 1980.
