Forrest County AHS and Purvis have first met on the football field in 1922.
The series itself has been continuously played since 1944, with FCAHS leading Purvis 49-40-2.
Fittingly enough, for the two teams that have plenty of history between them, they kick start Region 7-4A action against one another.
