Southern Miss sophomore right-handed pitcher Tanner Hall was awarded the prestigious Ferriss Trophy, sponsored by the Mississippi Band of Choctaws Indians and the Pearl River Resort, as the top collegiate baseball player in the state of Mississippi Monday afternoon.
