A special exhibition will be held this summer at the Historic Eureka School, a part of the Sixth Street Museum District. The Essence of the Crown Exhibition celebrates the rich, dynamic history, artistry, and cultural significance of African American hair. It explores hair as an essential form of self-expression, identity, and resistance.
