RUSTON, La. — Southern Miss couldn’t overcome 20 unanswered points by Louisiana Tech in the first half as the Golden Eagles dropped a 30-20 decision Saturday night.
The Golden Eagles’ offense sputtered throughout the second half, able to move the ball between the 20s but failing to reach the end zone when it mattered.
