On February 23, Hattiesburg police charged an individual in an ongoing child abuse investigation.
Jonathan Pittman Jr., 29, of Hattiesburg, who was staying with his girlfriend in the 600 block of Campbell Loop, was taken into custody and charged with one count of felony child neglect.
