Oak Grove was the only area team that saw a bump up in its rankings, moving from No. 9 in the state to No. 8. Positioned at No. 5 overall, Hattiesburg is still the highest ranked team in the area.
Lumberton is the only other team ranked in any of the polls, coming in at No. 3 in the 1A poll, which is the spot the Panthers have been at for a few weeks in a row.
PCS fell out of the Private School Poll after losing back-to-back contests.
