Harold David Green

Harold David Gree, 81, of Hattiesburg, died Jan. 14, 2020 at Merit Health Wesley Hospital.
Born March 9, 1938 in Bogue Chitto, Miss. to Charlie and Annabell Green, he was married to his wife, Faye, for 58 years and together, they raised two sons, Wayne Green and his wife, Donna, of Hattiesburg, and Greg Green and his wife, Denise, of Bloomington, Illinois.
After graduating from Bogue Chitto High School, Harold served as a Corpsman in the US Navy for four years before receiving an honorable discharge in 1960.
His successful career with Conoco swept the young couple and their growing family to new homes across the country, including Colorado and Montana where their sons were born.
They later settled in Hattiesburg where both of their sons graduated from both high school and college.
Harold is predeceased in death by his parents, as well as his brothers Edd and twin, Harry, who died at birth.
Survivors include his wife, his siblings Gary, Gordon, Helen, Virginia, and Frances; grandchildren Sydney and Sinclaire of Hattiesburg and Emily, Kyle, and Kevin of Bloomington, Indiana, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Services were under the direction of Riverwood Family Funeral Services of Brookhaven.
Patricia Curry Talbot
75, formerly of Hattiesburg
Patricia "Patty" Curry Talbot, a Mobile, Ala. native who moved to Hattiesburg and studied art at the University of Southern Mississippi, died Jan. 11, 2020 at her home in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. She was 75. Mostly self-taught, her works have been exhibited throughout the southeast and can be found in private collections throughout the nation, with aspirations of bringing the viewer some of the joy and happiness that she found through painting.
Patty devoted her life to her family while also helping others in need. She moved to Florence, Alabama in 1976 with her husband and three children, where she also served her community for more than 20 years as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician.
On February 25, 1967 she married Harry Talbot, they raised two sons, Jeff and Matt, and a daughter Cindy. Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Curry Sr. and Mary Harrell Curry; brother Kenneth Curry Jr.; and nephew Kenneth Curry III.
She is survived by her husband, Harry; children Jeff, Matt, and Cindy; grandsons Mitchell and Mahlon; sister Ann Aldridge and several nieces and nephews.
