On Saturday, April 25, fans of Southern gospel music will have the opportunity to see and hear two of America’s favorite and most awarded groups of that genre.
Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, along with The Hoppers, will perform in concert at Heritage United Methodist Church in Hattiesburg. Doors open at 5 p.m. for the 6 p.m. concert.
Founded in 2003, Haase has built Signature Sound into one of the most popular and beloved quartets in Southern gospel music. The Grammy-nominated and Dove Award-winning group has sung worldwide and continues to gain fans with its unique performance and unmistakable four-part harmony.
The Hoppers, formed in Madison, North Carolina, in 1957, have been singing to global audiences for more than 60 years. Known as “America’s Favorite Family of Gospel Music,” The Hoppers have performed throughout the U.S. as well as in Israel, Europe and Africa. The group was inducted into the GMA Hall of Fame in 2012.
