A legendary figure in comedy, Rickey Smiley has entertained audiences for more than three decades with his unique blend of stand-up, storytelling, and unforgettable characters. Known for fan favorites like Ms. Bernice Jenkins, Lil’ Daryl, Joe Willie, and Beauford, Smiley continues to draw sold-out crowds across the country.
In addition to his stand-up success, Smiley is the award-winning host of the nationally syndicated The Rickey Smiley Morning Show, heard in more than 70 cities nationwide. His excellence in broadcasting has earned him two prestigious Marconi Awards from the National Association of Broadcasters, including Network/Syndicated Personality of the Year honors in both 2017 and 2021.
Smiley’s career spans television, film, and publishing. He starred in his own sitcom, The Rickey Smiley Show, and later in the reality series Rickey Smiley For Real.
