Pearl River football adds assistant that 'elevates the room'

Pearl River football head coach Seth Smith has filled out his coaching staff ahead of the 2025 season with the addition of Blaise Breerwood.

Breerwood takes over the running backs room, replacing long-time assistant AJ Davis, who recently accepted a high school assistant coach position.

2 PRCC programs named MACCC Academic Team of the Year; 11 earn 3.0 or better

The Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference recently announced its Academic Teams of the Year, and a pair of Pearl River programs earned the distinction. Men's basketball won the award by finishing the year with a 3.22 GPA, and Rodeo earned a 3.45 GPA to pace its competition.
