Forrest County Supervisor Burkette Ross receives "Champion of the Year" award at Petal Homecoming football game
Supervisor for District 3, Burkette Ross, was honored at the 2023 Petal High School Homecoming game with the award known as "Champion of the Year". This award, which is chosen by the Petal Education Foundation, is given annually to anyone who has gone over and beyond in the Petal community as a leader and Mr. Ross has no doubt done that over his tenure in office and as a former member of the Forrest General Hospital board. The people of Petal were proud to see Mr. Ross receive that award. He was recognized for his many achievements, including but not limited to, the many contributions he has made to the Petal School District and Education foundation over the years.
