Potters are needed to help craft bowls for this year’s Empty Bowls 2019, which benefits the Edwards Street Fellowship Center food pantry in Hattiesburg.
Empty Bowls is a community project to raise money for local hunger prevention efforts and will be held Saturday, Nov. 2.
The pottery throw-a-thon is a come-and-go event set for 1-5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at Main Street Books, 210 North Main Street.
This is a free event and clay, pottery wheels, and snacks will be provided. Potters are asked to bring their own pottery tools.
