The Hattiesburg teenager who was arrested in late February for taking place in an incident involving unnatural intercourse with a dog has been taken into custody again, this time for allegedly breaking into a local business.
According to the Facebook page for the Forrest County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called on April 11 to 4692 U.S. 49 in Hattiesburg in reference to a commercial burglary. A plate glass window had been busted out of the business, and several items had been stolen from the premises.
After watching surveillance videos, deputies identified 18-year-old Skyler English of the Dixie community as a suspect. On April 17, English was taken into custody and charged with one count of commercial burglary and booked into the Forrest County Correctional Facility.
The sheriff’s office website shows that the bond amount for that charge was set at $25,000, and English remained incarcerated as of April 20.
On February 29, English was arrested by officers from the Hattiesburg Police Department and charged with accessory after the fact regarding the incident with the dog. He was taken into custody shortly after 20-year-old Dennis Nicole Frazier of Purvis was arrested and charged with one count of attempted unnatural intercourse (warrant) and one count of unnatural intercourse.
The arrests were made after video surfaced of Frazier having sexual intercourse with a dog.
“(This case) is under very close investigation – and I do mean very close investigation,” said Sherri Marengo, who serves as public information officer for the Forrest County Sheriff’s Office, after the initial arrests were made.
English’s bond was set at $10,000 for the accessory after the fact count, at which point he bonded out.
The February arrest marked the second time Frazier had been incarcerated for such acts.
In April 2023, Frazier was arrested by Jones County deputies and charged with unnatural intercourse/aggravated animal cruelty after allegedly having sex with a German Shepherd. Jones County Justice Court Judge Grant Hedgepeth then set Frazier’s bond at $25,000 and ordered her to stay away from animals.
During an initial appearance March 1 of this year, Frazier’s bond was set at a total of $20,000 – $10,000 for each charge – by Forrest County Justice Court Judge Zach Vaughn. However, because this was Frazier’s second violation, Vaughn revoked a previous bond for Vaughn in Jones County, meaning that even if Frazier did bond out in Forrest County, she would be remanded by to the custody of Jones County officials.
Frazier also remained in custody as of April 20.
