What better way to debut the inaugural issue of The PineBelt NEWS - the newly-combined community newspaper created from the merger of our three award-winning publications (The Hattiesburg Post, The Lamar Times, and The Petal News) than to invite local cheerleaders from our primary coverage areas to grace the inaugural cover?

Big thanks to Katelynn Littlejohn from Oak Grove High, Jada Holmes from Hattiesburg High and Belle Parker from Petal High School for helping us celebrate the launch our new endeavor and to to grace our very-first issue.
