Before food trucks, there were farmer's trucks. In Hattiesburg of old, they were four-wheeled markers of the seasons — spring, summer, fall and winter. Farmers in their old pickup trucks were staples in the neighborhoods of East Hattiesburg when I was growing up. And they probably made it down your street, too.
