ELLISVILLE – The Jones College soccer teams knocked off Northwest Mississippi in a pair of games here Monday evening at Bobcat Soccer Field.

In the women’s game, the Lady Bobcats blitzed the Lady Rangers, 8-0. In the men’s contest, Jones posted a 3-1 decision. Both Jones teams are now 2-0.

ELLISVILLE – Brendan Connolly has seen gradual improvement from his Jones College soccer team during three scrimmage matches in the month of August.

“Everything is going really well,” the third-year head coach of the Bobcats said. “All three games in preseason have been three good performances.”

Head coach Dolores Deasley’s Lady Bobcats have captured two consecutive MACJC/Region 23 Tournament championships, qualifying for NJCAA Division I postseason play both years.
