Two more state champions were crowned. Here is a recap of the top plays from Day 2 of the Mississippi Gridiron Classic.
The first game featured Baldwyn pulling off a second half comeback to win the Class 1A state championship. West Point then defeated Gautier 28-21 in the Class 5A title game to win its 13th championship.

No. 5 Shamane Clark Powers in a Touchdown
It took three Gautier players to try and take down West Point running back Shamane Clark, which they did, but in the end zone.
No. 4 Game Sealing Interception
Colton Hayes became a Baldwyn hero as he intercepted Simmons quarterback Tyrone Buchanan III to seal the Class 1A State championship for the Bearcats.
No. 3 The Wrestle Catch
Baldwyn's Dyl'an Johnson connected with Ethan Johnson on a 15 yard pass. Johnson laid out for the ball and had to wrestle off a defender to make the catch.
No. 2 It's a Fake!
West Point runs a fake hand off that also catches the camera man off guard as Clark punched in his third touchdown of the day.
No 1. Irving Goes Deep
The play of the day from Day 2 goes to Gautier's quarterback Trey Irving and wide receiver Kainen Rush. As on fourth-and-6, Irving threw a beautiful ball to Rush for a 46-yard touchdown.
