Golden Eagles head coach Jay Ladner believes the team's chemistry on the court is similar to that of the 2022-23 team that won 25 games and the Sun Belt regular season title.

Southern Miss unveils new golf center

Southern Miss unveiled the Giddis Golf Center at the Hattiesburg Country Club this past Friday. The $1.2 million facility, which was privately funded, is the new home of both the men's and women's golf teams.

Southern Miss' fast start fizzles out in 49-24 loss to South Florida

For a moment, it seemed Southern Miss had exorcised its demons as the Golden Eagles jumped out to a 14-0 lead over favored South Florida.

However, failure to stop USF on third down and convert in the red zone allowed the Bulls to respond with 28 unanswered points and defeat Southern Miss 49-24.
