The matchup between Southern Miss and Tennessee went in a weather delay in the bottom of the fifth inning, with the Golden Eagles holding a 4-0 lead.

Breaking down the Hattiesburg Super Regional between Southern Miss and Tennessee

For just the second time in school history, Southern Miss will host a Super Regional as the Golden Eagles will face Tennessee.

This is the third overall Super Regional appearance in program history and comes after Southern Miss hosted Ole Miss last season.
