BJ Mitchell has never forgotten the day he learned the news that his father died.
“I was nine years old on Oct. 1. We got a call from the doctor’s office saying that my dad had passed,” Mitchell said.
Brandon Mitchell was killed in a work accident. It was exactly one month before his son’s 10th birthday.
