William Carey University hosted a local delegation from the Mississippi House of Representatives at a luncheon and round-table discussion about the state’s persistent teacher shortage.
State Rep. Kent McCarty, R-Hattiesburg, helped organize the Oct. 5 meeting. McCarty represents District 101 in Lamar County.
