ELLISVILLE – The Jones College Bobcats got rolling late in the first quarter and could not be stopped.

Jones scored on four straight possessions to end the first half and went on to rip Coahoma 44-0 here Thursday night at Bobcat Stadium/Sim Cooley Field in the season opener.

Head coach Dolores Deasley’s Lady Bobcats have captured two consecutive MACJC/Region 23 Tournament championships, qualifying for NJCAA Division I postseason play both years.
