The British writer Dorothy Richardson was one of the first truly female voices in Literature. While other authors were writing under assumed names (George Eliot a/k/a Mary Anne Evans), Dorothy Richardson turned her life into a series of 13 semi-autobiographical novels released from 1915 to 1967.
