Monday’s Carey Carnival and unveiling of their Mississippi Power Foundation stage provided thrills for all ages. Carnival rides, fair food, performances by the jazz band and cheerleaders, and the opportunity to paint a brick in a mural on the side of Thomas Fine Art Center drew around 2,500 people to William Carey University.
