After many years of residence on Main Street in Petal, the iconic World War II plane made its departure for College Station, Texas on Thursday, Nov. 14. The final destination will be the Museum of the American G.I., a living history museum which takes pride in restoring and preserving military vehicles, uniforms, and memorabilia.
