Founded by the Area Development Partnership Leadership Class in 1997, The Pinebelt Foundation began as a hub for the support of local nonprofits and charitable causes. Now, the foundation serves 13 counties: Smith, Jasper, Lawrence, Jefferson Davis, Covington, Jones, Wayne, Pike, Walthall, Marion, Lamar, Forrest and Perry.
