Historic landmark in the Hub City, the Officers’ Quarters, held a plaque dedication on the property located on 2nd Avenue in downtown Hattiesburg on Tuesday morning. Constructed in 1941 by A.B. Maynard, using Hattiesburg architect, Henry G. Markel, the complex was originally built as housing for Army families during World War II.
