A cloudy sky didn’t stop more than 100 faculty, staff, and students at the University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Park campus from enjoying the highly anticipated solar eclipse on Monday. Groups gathered at the Lofty Lot and Health Center front lawn prepared to catch a glimpse of the rare occurrence in between clouds.
