Charles Huff earns first win as Southern Miss head coach with 38-20 win over Jackson State

It wasn’t perfect, but Southern Miss pulled away in the second half for a 38-20 win over Jackson State, giving first-year head coach Charles Huff his first win at Southern Miss.

The win also marked the first for Southern Miss since Sept. 7, 2024, ending an 11-game losing streak, which was the nation’s longest.
