Police respond to Monday night shooting

On Monday, April 11, 2022, Hattiesburg Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 100 block of Cypress Avenue, just after 9:30 p.m.

When officers arrived on scene, an individual was found suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The individual was transported from the scene by ambulance to a local hospital.
