The Bobcats got back in the win column this week after scoring 23 points in the second half and improve to 2-1. Sumrall hosts Pearl River Central for its home opener.
Oak Grove 42, Hattiesburg 21
The Warriors stay undefeated and move to 3-0 while Hattiesburg drops to 0-3. Oak Grove will host John Curtis (La.) on Thursday while the stay on the road to face Meridian.
Columbia 20, Petal 14
The Panthers drop their first game of the season and fall to 2-1. Next week Petal will host Laurel next week.
Pass Christian 21, Purvis 14
Purvis loses its first game of the season and falls to 2-1. The Tornados host Bay High next week.
Amite School Center 14, Sacred Heart 0
The Crusaders fall to 1-2 on the season. Sacred Heart will go on the road next week to face Salem.
East Marion 41, North Forrest 0
North Forrest continues to search for its first win of the season as the Eagles drop to 0-3. North Forrest returns home next week to face Loyd Star.
Poplarville 48, Lumberton 0
The Panthers are also still hoping to earn their first win of the season as they fall to 0-3. Lumberton will host Wesson next week for its home opener.
