PETAL – The stakes were sky-high Thursday night as Petal and Oak Grove renewed their long, often acrimonious, rivalry.
Second place in Region 3-7A, and a home game in the first round of the Class 7A playoffs was the prize awaiting the winner; third place and a trip to Gulfport next week awaited the loser.
