Southern Miss redshirt senior quarterback Jack Abraham is choosing to sit out for the rest of the season according to multiple reports.
Abraham had previously dealt with concussion protocol as well as COVID-19 last month.
Abraham joins a lift of other players who have chosen to opt out, which includes running back Don Ragsdale, who left the team last month.
In his career at USM, Abraham passed for 7,067 yards and 41 touchdowns.
Southern Miss will play Western Kentucky at 2:30 p.m.
