Join Spirit of Women for Forrest General’s third Employee Artisan Market – the perfect opportunity to stock up on Thanksgiving goodies and handcrafted Christmas gifts. Everything will be made by Forrest General’s talented employees. The event will be held from 7 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, in Forrest General’s Cafeteria Meeting Rooms.
“We know many of our employees enjoy outlets for their creative talent, and they sell the beautiful items they make to the public,” said Kathy Emmons Walker, Spirit of Women coordinator. “We wanted to give them an opportunity to share their gifts as well as offer a chance for busy people to get their shopping done in one place,"
Available items include: wreaths, artwork, pottery, T-shirts, candles, handsewn items (smocked, appliqued, monogrammed, and quilted), handcrafted gift items, calligraphy, baked goods (cakes, pies, rolls, etc.) and Christmas items
Each booth will collect payment for their items, so a variety of payments may be accepted. There is an ATM located in the hospital’s lobby for convenience. Admission is free. For more information, call 601-288-1309.
