From June 13th-June 16th, Southern Pines Healthy Pet Clinic will be hosting a Summer Vaccine Bash for puppies and dogs at various locations in the Pine Belt community. (See schedule below for locations and times.)
The clinic’s outreach team will be offering low-cost wellness services such as core vaccines, flea prevention, and heartworm tests. And thanks to a generous grant from Banfield Foundation® who shares the Clinic’s belief that every pet deserves access to medical care, the $10 exam fee has been waived and each eligible dog may also receive a rabies vaccine free of charge. Additionally, Banfield Foundation has also made it possible for the clinic to provide three months of free heartworm prevention for large dogs that test negative for heartworms.
The canine parvovirus vaccines, that will also be available free of charge to our community’s dogs at our Summer Bash clinics, have been generously provided by Petco Love to further their mission to raise awareness about the need for recurrent pet vaccinations, to reduce the spread of preventable diseases, and to help provide this lifesaving resource to the pets who need it most.
The Summer Vaccine Bash will be held the following locations at the following dates and times:
- June 13th (Tues.) @ Petal Tractor Supply from 8am - 11am

According to Ginny Sims, Executive Director of the Southern Pines Organization, “Affordable and accessible veterinary care are key to keeping our pets happy and healthy. And with our Summer Vaccine Bash, we’re bringing that lifesaving care right into our local neighborhoods, making it easier than ever to protect our four-legged family members. We're incredibly grateful to the Banfield Foundation & Petco Love for their invaluable support in making this event possible."
The Healthy Pet Clinic’s Summer Vaccine Bash is open to the public, there are no residency requirements. The Summer Vaccine Bash will accept walk-in clients; no appointment is necessary, but pet parents can reserve a spot at www.sopineshealthypets.org if they’d prefer to secure an appointment time. For the safety of the clinic staff and the community’s pets, all dogs must be on leashes. Because these off-site clinics are held outdoors, the Summer Vaccine Bash events will be dependent on the weather.
