The Southern Miss baseball season came to an end on Monday as the Golden Eagles finished the year 47-16.
As of now, the program will have 10 new faces on next year's roster with Southern Miss announcing the signings of nine high school players and one from junior college.

WHO IS IN?
Kyle Morrison, INF
Morrison started 51 games for the Jaguars as the team's third baseman. This past season, he batted .294, hit 12 doubles, nine home runs and drove in 44 runs in 51 games. In the series against Southern Miss, Morrison went 5-for-11, hitting two home runs and driving in six RBI. Before South Alabama, Morrison played two years at Shelton State, where he was named the ACCC Co-Player of the Year in 2024. The rising junior announced his commitment on social media on June 7.
Caleb Stelly, OF
Stelly is the second player within the Sun Belt Conference that has transferred to Southern Miss. Stelly spent three seasons at Louisiana, which featured posting a career batting average of .293, 26 doubles, 10 home runs and 74 RBI. Stelly spent his junior year as the team's designated hitter, which featured him recording a .302 average, 10 doubles, two triples, eight home runs and 33 RBI.
Thomas Crabtree, RHP
Crabtree is the first pitcher to be signed from the portal this offseason. In his lone season at Tennessee, he recorded a 3.00 ERA, 0.87 WHIP, 20 strikeouts and five walks in 15 innings of work. He made 12 appearances and two starts for the Volunteers; however, the 6-foot-4, 194-pound pitcher made only one appearance during conference play. Despite being a Collierville, Tenn., native, the sophomore is no stranger to Mississippi, as he spent his freshman season at Pearl River Community College, where he recorded 105 strikeouts, 28 walks and a 2.96 ERA in 76 innings. Crabtree was the first PRCC pitcher to eclipse 100 strikeouts since 2008.
Jake Neely, RHP
The 6-foot-4, 210-pounder made only five appearances as a true freshman for Arizona State this past season. Neely posted a 19.64 ERA, two strikeouts, six walks and allowed eight runs off four hits in 3.2 innings. The San Antonio, Texas native has a fastball that is up to the mid-90s and has topped out at 96 mph.
WHO IS OUT?
Caleb Hughes, RHP
As a true freshman, Hughes did not log any innings this past season. The Georgia native was the 2024 Class 6A Player of the Year.
Cal Culpepper, RHP
As a redshirt freshman, Culpepper appeared in four games which featured him posting a 10.38 ERA, one strikeout, three walks, seven hits and five earned runs.
