Robert “Rob” E. Broom, Jr. 40, of Petal, died Jan. 30, 2020, at his home in Petal.
Rob was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Broom Sr.
He is survived by his daughter, Hannah Broom; his mother, Itaska Broom; uncle, Marlin (Debbie) Goar; aunt, Ouida (Larry) Bracey; and a number of cousins.
He was buried in Lott Cemetery in Sumrall.
Donna Roseberry Byrd

Services were held Jan. 31 for Donna Roseberry Byrd, 72, of Purvis, who died Jan. 28, 2020.
Mrs. Byrd retired as branch manager at Lamar Bank and was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church of Purvis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Byrd, and one great-grandchild.
She is survived by two sons, Warren Byrd (Stacey) and Mike Byrd (Ashten); two daughters, Lori Molsbee (Jeff) and Michelle Courtney (Wayne); three brothers, Monty Roseberry, Robert Roseberry, and Jim Roseberry, all of Purvis, MS; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or The Ronald McDonald House.
Interment was in the Coaltown Cemetery.

Memorial services were held Feb. 5 in Sumrall for Amanda Garrard Foster, 38, of Oak Grove.
She died Jan. 27, 2020, in Scottsboro, Ala.
Foster was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Huey Burkhalter and Milford Garrard, and her brother, Mitchell Garrard.
She is survived by her four children, Gage Foster, Neal Grant, Katie Grace Foster and Eyston Cleland; two grandmothers, Bobbie Garrard and Robbie Buckhalter, both of Hattiesburg; parents, Carl Garrard (Clara) of Sumrall and Becky Pascale (Richard) of Jacksonville, Florida; five step-brothers, Tracy Stewart, Corey Stewart, Chancey Stewart (Amber), all of Sumrall,
and David Pascale and Joseph Pascale (Amber) both of Hattiesburg; one step-sister, Monica Howard (Jason) of Hattiesburg; and many nieces and nephews.

Ella Gregg, 86, died Feb. 2, 2020, at Bedford Care Center in Petal.
Ella was an avid reader and had retired from Morrison’s Food Service as a food service manager at William Carey University and Jones Junior College.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ed Gregg; and three sisters, Irene Kendricks, Mary Budgarder and Sally Simmons.
She is survived by her three sons, Glenn (Donna) Bowen of Ardmore, Okla., Larry Gregg of Flowood and Terry (Cam) Gregg of Petal; a daughter, Carolyn Pendland of Yukon, Oklahoma; a brother, Junior Edmiaston; a sister, Daisy Fulfer; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Charles M. Hensleigh, 90, of Purvis, died Feb. 3, 2020, at his home in Purvis.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 7, 2020, at Purvis United Methodist Church, followed by burial in Coaltown Cemetery.
Mr. Hensleigh was a member of Purvis United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army and owner of Ace Hardware for 35 years. He was very active in his church and community.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Edna Hensleigh; his three brothers, James Hensleigh, Walt Hensleigh and John Hensleigh; and his first wife, Frances Hensleigh.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene Dial Hensleigh of Purvis; his six children, Martha Toland (Jimmy) of Purvis, David Hensleigh (Carolyn) of Lineville, Ala., Sarah Pylant (Guy) of Purvis, Elizabeth Chance (Wayne) of Purvis, Deborah Lazenby (Steve) of Purvis, and Jonathan Hensleigh (Laura) of Purvis; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, at Purvis United Methodist Church.

Mrs. King was a member of St. Alphonsys Catholic Church in Ocean Springs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby King; and her parents, Sanders "Buck" and Edvidge "Nan" Broussard.
She is survived by a son, Micah King of Ocean Springs; daughters, Kimberly Miller (Mark) of Ocean Springs, and Charynne King Fugitt (Wendell) of Hattiesburg; one sister, Sandra Guillotte (Richard) of Loreauville, Louisiana; and three grandchildren, Chelsea King, Jansen King, and Victoria Miller.

Services will be held at noon Saturday, Feb. 8, at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home Sumrall Chapel for Charlotte Ann Kinsey, 75, of Sumrall, formerly of Gautier.
She died Feb. 3, 2020.
Kinsey was a real estate broker in Jackson County for 30 years. She was the church organist and pianist at North Gautier Baptist Church. She loved caring for people more than anything and was a mother to all who ever knew her.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Viona Stephens.
She is survived by her husband, John Kinsey of Sumrall; her father, Paul Stephens of Sumrall; two sons, John Kinsey of Gautier and Gary Kinsey (Wendy) of Chesapeake, Va.; one daughter, Melanie Morgan (Richard) of Flowood; three sisters, Charlene Russell (Jerry), Jenell Broom (Sherron) and Jeneanne Miller, all of Sumrall; two brothers, Hayden Stephens (Emily) and Herlon Stephens (Penny), both of Sumrall; and seven grandchildren, Heath Kinsey, Colton Kinsey, Grant Morgan, Kaiden Kinsey, Austin Morgan, Kooper Kinsey and Susanna Kinsey.

James “Jim” Tisdale, 57, of Hattiesburg, died Jan. 24, 2020 at Ochsner’s Medical Center in Slidell.
Jim was a member of the Assemblies of God.
He graduated from Oak Grove High School and attended Pearl River Community College, then after many years of service, he retired as an operating engineer with the City of Hattiesburg Water Plant.
He was preceded in death by an infant, Jamie Tisdale; his father, SMSgt Samuel H. Tisdale Jr.; brother-in-law, Col. Alan Mirrielees; and in-laws, Franklin and Geraldine “Geri” Davis.
He is survived by his wife, Sheri Tisdale; two sons, Jameson Tisdale and Jonathan Davis; mother, Alice Tisdale; a brother, John (Hye-sun) Tisdale, all of Hattiesburg; as well as two sisters, Amanda Mirrielees of Rapid City, S.D., and Sharron (Clay) Taylor of Hattiesburg.
