Taylor was raised in Petal and attended schools in Petal School District.
He grew up attending the University of Southern Mississippi’s Golden Eagle home football games with his family, where he was able to learn and grow to appreciate the art of a tailgate. His professional team of choice was the Oakland Raiders. He was an avid gamer and reader; full of knowledge about the latest releases for movies and video games and enjoyed sharing both his knowledge and collections with family and friends.
At the time of his passing, Taylor was employed as a factory worker by Ashley Furniture Industries.
Survivors include his parents, Ralph and Connie Litten, Water Valley (formerly of Petal and Grenada), and his sisters Meghan Marae’ Litten, Boston, Mass., and Madison Mackenzie Litten, Water Valley, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Taylor will be greatly missed by both his family and friends. He will be remembered for his kindness and loyalty. He was most happy making those around him laugh. His distinctive laugh is one that will not be forgotten by those who knew and loved him.
The family received friends on Dec. 2 followed by a service led by his youth minister and later pastor, the Rev. Ben Skipper, of Carterville Baptist Church (Petal).
