Restaurant Week is a program of VisitHATTIESBURG, and it would not be possible without the support of local chefs and restauranteurs. To create a cohesive dining experience throughout the city, several customized options with the HBURG logo and #EatHBURG hashtag will be featured throughout the city.
“Hattiesburg’s front-line servers and back-of-the-house staff are among the best that exist in the industry, and we always enjoy working alongside them. This week, we are happy to provide them with new server aprons with the HBURG logo,” said Marlo Dorsey, CEO of VisitHATTIESBURG. “Guests dining in participating restaurants will receive a fun recipe card for Hattiesburg Firecracker Pimento & Cheese, complete with chili pepper seeds for planting.”
Plans are underway to engage the community with a series of giveaways, including gift cards and exclusive merchandise, along with week-long discounts found on the “Visit HBURG” mobile app. Diners are encouraged to share their Restaurant Week experiences on social media with the hashtag #EatHBURG.
The latest details, as well as a comprehensive list of participating restaurants, will be available at www.visithburg.org/eatlocal/. The Foodie Guide is conveniently sorted by neighborhood to help diners plan their culinary adventures.
