The Pine Belt News recognizes the 2026 class of 20 Under 40. Read about Conner Aucoin here, and see the special section publishing on January 29 to read about all of this year's honorees.
As the Business Manager for About You in Home Care & Vital Medical Staffing, Conner Aucoin led efforts to grow both sides of his company across the state. He was successful by building an amazing team while focusing on marketing, events, and community involvement. An employee describes him as reliable, ambitious, and authentic, adding, “He is someone you can always count on. No matter how busy his scheduled, he remains reachable to team members, family, and friends. He brings honesty and integrity to everything he does. He shares thoughtful, constructive feedback during meetings, even when it differs from the majority opinion, because improving the project matters more than simply agreeing. Even under pressure, he stays true to his values, choosing the right path over shortcuts or compromises.”
Conner tells us, “I’ve been in the caregiving field for six years, and I truly couldn’t enjoy it more. There’s something special about being able to serve the people who helped build and shape our communities. I look forward to staying in this field for many years to come, and I hope to one day own my own caregiving agency so I can continue helping in any way I can.”
When asked about his first job, Conner replies, “I owned my own lawn care and landscaping company for years as a teenager. I learned how to run a company. I learned determination, discipline, how to talk to others, how to sell and most of all how to be a hard worker.”
He would tell his 18-year-old self, “Keep pushing for your goals. It may take a while, but you will get there eventually, and it will be worth it. No goal is too big, if you put your mind to it, it can be done.” Conner has just accepted a new position as the COO of the Goodness Caregiver Network.
