PURVIS – Lawrence County scored two runs in the fifth to take the lead on Purvis for good Friday night, defeating the Tornadoes 4-3 in a Region 7-4 contest.
Purvis is now 9-4-1 overall and 3-1 in region play, and the Cougars are now 7-4-1 and 2-2 in the region.
