TO: The unknown Punitive Father of the minor child, M. E. G., and any other person interested in the adoption of M. E. G.
You have been made a Respondent to the Petition for Adoption in the above styled and numbered cause.
You are hereby summoned and commanded to personally appear before the Chancery Court of Lamar County, Mississippi, at the Lamar County Chancery Courthouse in Purvis, Mississippi, on the 15th day of September 2020, at 9:00 a.m. to respond to said Petition and show cause why the relief sought and prayed for in the Petition for the Adoption of M. E. G. and/or objection, if any, to ratification of the Adoption granted by the Court should not be granted, and in case of your failure to appear and defend, a judgment will be entered against you for the relief demanded in the complaint or Petition and the Adoption will be ratified and confirmed.
You are not required to file an answer or other pleading, but you may do so if you desire.
