INVITATION FOR BIDS
SENATE BILL 3049 WATER LINE IMPROVEMENTS FOR PROGRESS WATER ASSOCIATION
Sealed bids for the Senate Bill 3049 Water Line Improvements in Lamar County, Mississippi will be received by Progress Water Association at their Board Room located at 200 Mitchell Avenue, Purvis, Mississippi 39475 by 10:00 A.M., on Thursday, September 3, 2020, at which time they will be publicly opened. Principal items of construction are as follows:
Provide labor, materials, tools, and other necessary items required for the construction and placement of water lines, services, meters, valves, and other miscellaneous items.
Complete plans, specifications and bid form may be purchased for $250 (non-refundable) from:

A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the bid will be required with the proposal.
Bidder shall also submit a current financial statement if requested by the Owner.
Attorneys-in-fact who signed required bonds must file with each bond a certified and effective dated copy of their power of attorney.
Bid proposals shall be submitted in duplicate, sealed and deposited with Progress Water Association prior to the hour and date above designated.
Each bidder shall write his Certificate of Responsibility number and Mississippi License number on the outside of the sealed envelope containing his proposal.
Progress Water Association reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Association, and to waive informalities.
