Notice of Adoption of Ordinance
Notice is hereby given of the title and of a general summary of the subject matter contained in Ordinance No. 3278, duly adopted and approved by the City Council of the City of Hattiesburg on July 21, 2020. A complete copy of the Ordinance is available for public inspection during normal and regular business hours in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Hattiesburg, 200 Forrest Street, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, 39401.
The title of the Ordinance is:

ORDINANCE NO. 3278
AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND VACATING A PORTION OF THE UN-IMPROVED UNNAMED ALLEY WHICH IS LOCATED NORTH OF EAST HARDY STREET, SOUTH OF JERSEY STREET, AND TO THE EAST OF OAK STREET (WITHIN PARCEL 2-030L-11-138.01, PPIN 20306, WARD 2) AND IS BOUNDED BY EAST HARDY STREET TO THE SOUTH, JERSEY STREET TO THE SOUTH, AND OAK STREET TO THE WEST THAT IS CURRENTLY PLATTED AND EXISTING.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HATTIESBURG, MISSISSIPPI:
A general summary of the subject matter of the Ordinance is contained in its title.
This notice constitutes compliance with Sections 13-3-31 and 21-17-19 of the Mississippi Code Annotated (1972) as amended.
The above and foregoing Ordinance, after having been first reduced to writing, was introduced by Councilmember George, seconded by Councilmember Brown and was adopted by the following roll call votes, to wit:

Nays: None
